Engine 21 is a 1992 International 4900/KME fire engine with a 1250 gpm pump and a 1000 gal tank. This engine is our first truck to roll for all structure fires with a seating capacity of 6 firefighters. There are many other tools this truck is equipped with such as a positive pressure fan, chainsaw, thermal imaging camera, ladder, pike poles, axes, and much more.
Rescue 22 is a 2016 Ford F-350 compact rapid response vehicle. Equipped with specialized tools to conduct rescue operations. Some of those tools consist of hydraulic spreaders (Jaws), cutters, combitool, ram, and some battery powered saws and drill/impact. This rescue truck is our go to unit for motor vehicle accidents and specialized rescues.
Tanker 23 is our 2003 Freightliner FL-80/S&S Infinity tanker, equipped with a 750 gpm pump and a 2400 gallon tank. Our tanker is usually is our second truck to roll. This truck helps to supply water for structure, car, and grass fires. Tanker 23 is equipped with extra hoses, a drop tank, a thermal camera, axe and halligan, and the seat capacity to transport 5 firefighters.
Brush 24 is our 1997 Ford F-350/FD, equipped with 1980's HP/50 gallon skid unit. This truck is our first truck to roll for all grass related fires. Along with its booster line, this truck is equipped with shovels, rakes, and beaters. This unit also has front mounted sprayers that allow us to spray along fire lines as we are moving.
Unit 29 is our 2011 Polaris Ranger with an HP pump and two 25 gallon tanks. This UTV provides assistants on grass fires. Unit 29 can get into hard to reach areas that Bruch 24 can not. With being so close to the Cardinal GreenWay, unit 29 is our go to for any trail related incidents.
